- How Counseling Became My Saving Grace and Passion -
I experienced a significant trauma in high school that completely altered the course of my life. Before that, anxiety wasn’t something I thought much about. But from that point on, it became a persistent presence in my daily experience.

The joy I once felt as a passionate teen was taken from me, and I didn’t know how to regain control. Then, a friend encouraged me to try therapy. Through individual counseling, I learned how to process, overcome, and cope with my experience. I discovered that it was possible to live a life separate from anxiety and reclaim my sense of self. This transformative journey inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others find their own path forward, despite the pain, trauma, and misfortunes they have endured.

Training and Therapeutic Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over seven years of diverse experience in the counseling field. Throughout my career, I have held various roles that have enriched my understanding and approach to therapy. My goal is to provide a warm, open, and empathetic space where your well-being is the focal point of our journey together.

I believe in uncovering the root causes of the issues you’re experiencing, as we often spend our lives managing the symptoms of deep roots. In our collaborative work, we will explore your unique strengths, challenges, and goals. Through the therapeutic process, I aim to empower you to discover your own resilience and potential. Authenticity is a cornerstone of my work, as I believe genuine, open communication lays the groundwork for transformation.

My academic journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I’m also trained in Gottman Method Couples Counseling Levels I and II. I enjoy working with adults, adolescents, children, and couples.
